I grew up in a small town in New York about an hour north of NYC called Katonah. Some people call it upstate and a select few call it midstate. For a long time I tried to argue it wasn’t upstate, but running past the horse farms when I’m home makes it a hard argument to win.

Growing up I was always environmentally conscious, participating in different green energy events, almost going to college for environmental science and being vegetarian for 8 years for environmental reasons (in the least annoying way possible).

For college, I went out west and attended Colorado School of Mines where I studied Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science. While at Mines, I completed research on mineral demand models and the energy transition and completed an internship at Rio Tinto’s Kennecott Mine in SLC for a summer. I also completed research in predictive synthesis for manganese-base intermetallics and a Software Engineering internship at Transamerica.

Currently, I live in Boulder and work at Lockheed Martin Space as a Software Engineer working on ground control software. I’m an avid runner with three 50k+ races booked for this year and also just grabbed my first gravel bike which I’m pretty stoked to use this summer.
